It rained television celebrities yesterday at the launch party of ‘real’ channel at J.W. Marriot. Renowned celebrities walked in and posed for the shutter bags. Some of them were Ila and Ishita Arun, Parmeet Sethi, Archana Puran Singh, Rakshanda Khan, Ravi Behl, Manav Gohil, Naved Jaffery, Shweta Salve, Narayani Shastri, Gaurav Chopra, Mouni Roy, Hussain, Tina, Apoorva, Shilpa Saklani and many more.
We chose three of the best and most stared couples there (yes, these couples has become the centre of attraction due to their looks, clothes and most of all their pleasing personality).
The three couples as per our preference are-
1. Apoorva and Shilpa Saklani: They were very much in demand since the time they had entered the hotel. The cameras cold just not stop clicking them and they certainly wanted more of it. What we liked was the couples’ attire. Seemed like Apoorva and Shilpa had worn the same type of clothes, they both wore white and black. That was a silk shirt and black lowers to be precise. Shilpa’s shirt had quite low initial buttons making her look all the more sexy. Fortunately that did allow everyone to have a glance of her deep neck and unfortunately that showed no cleavage and hence made Shilpa look hot and sexy.
2. Gaurav Chopra and Mouni Roy: Black is for guys and red is for girls. This is the perfect dress code for prom nights in colleges and stuffs. Seemed like Gaurav and Mouni were there all set to revise their college days although they didn’t even step on the dance floor. We had seen the couple a day before the event at Fame and we must agree that there is a lot of difference between casuals and formal wear. Gaurav was looking quite handsome in black but Mouni just became the show stopper there. Wearing a beautiful red gown Mouni made eyes pop out to show her beautiful creamy neckline. Se was looking ultra stunning and that red dress of hers added fuel to fire.
3. Hussain and Tina: Last but not the least is our lovely dovely couple Hussain and Tina. They patiently posed for the cameras turning everywhere giving the photographers to click from every angle. Hussain wore a waist jacket while Tina chose to flaunt a small peach number which did give a chance for on lookers to have a sneek peek at her legs.

Katrina Kaif splurges money
Katrina Kaif is enjoying a good phase in her career and can afford to spend as much as she can. On herself of course.
But the actress just decided to spurge on the unit members of Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’.
The buzz is that while shooting at Film City, Kat distributed as much as Rs 5 lakh among the unit members which included the technicians and spot boys.
A source reveals, “After wrapping up the schedule, Katrina went into her vanity van and came out with bundles of notes and started distributing them among the unit members. She was in a happy mood and wanted to share her happiness with everyone.”
Katrina has reportedly acted on her instincts and while handing the money also thanked everyone personally.
It’s being said that she was showing appreciation for the long hours, sometimes 16 hours at a stretch that the unit had put in and her way of saying thanks to as many as 300 people was calling them by their names and handing out the cash to each one personally.
The director Santoshi was also reportedly caught by surprise as people don’t usually do what he did

Ek raat ki baat….This week Abhishek had just one day’s shooting for Balki’s much-discussed Paa. For that he not only had to rush to Kuala Lampur he also had to completely change his look to a clean-shaven one in contrast to the droopy-mouche look that he sports for Mani Ratnam’s Raavan.
Says Abhishek, “The new clean-shaven look was needed. It was just one day’s shoot for Paa. Now for next week I have to go back to the earlier look for Mani’s look.”
Apparently the Raavan look is a hot favourite among Abhishek’s fans. He has had numerous requests to keep that look permanently. However he needs to sport another look for Abhinay Deo’s untitled film.

We know you get late if you are shooting or you have several other conferences to attend but they had come down to Jaipur especially for this event.”

Angelina Jolie certainly seems to be having a lot of interesting experiences while shooting her new movie, Salt.
Yesterday she filmed being arrested by police, put in handcuffs and escorted out of a building.
She and the officers appeared to be covered in dust outside the courtyard of St. Bart's Church in Manhattan.
Happy Birthday Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut, one of the most interesting of the current crop of Bollywood actresses, has a well-earned birthday break today. After recent stunning performances in movies such as Gangster, Who Lamhe, Life In A Metro, Fashion and Raaz – The Mystery Continues, she has reached the giddy heights of stardom at the still relatively young age of twenty-two.
She hopes, however, that she is still at the start of her career and plans to focus on it until she is at least thirty which is good news for all her fans – even though it may mean putting marriage on the back burner for the time being. “There are so many other things to do that are far more important in my life, so many places to see, dreams to fulfill,” she says, “I want to get married when I want to have babies.”
Kangana also has ambitions to develop careers in other areas. She has signed up for a fashion course in London and would also like to try her hand at directing. “I want to go to the US to study filmmaking and then direct a film. It has been my dream and now I want to fulfill it,” she explains, “After I complete my pending acting assignments I intend to go abroad.”

Ekta Kapoor's Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, which is based on the life of the late don Haji Mastan, has already run into controversial waters with his family filing a case against her production house. Now, Ekta wants to avoid more controversy.

Says a source in Balaji, "Ekta, Balaji, director Milan Luthria and the creative team took a decision to drop Dilip Kumar's character completely from the screenplay though he was known to be a close friend of Haji Mastan.
It was also believed that Haji's entry into Bollywood was facilitated by Dilip Kumar. Portraying all this would have created too much controversy, which is why we decided to drop his character."
The source adds, "It is generally accepted that Haji Mastan was the first celebrity don in India. Apart from Dilip Kumar, Shashi Kapoor and Mukri were also believed to be friends with Mastan.
Dilip Kumar's friend Mukri, the actor, was to produce a film starring Haji Mastan, which was to be based on the don's life. However, the project never got completed for some reason."

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra was invited to visit Salvatore Ferragamo Headquarter in Florence on 2nd March, where she received inimitable VIP treatment, once reserved for Hollywood stars in another era. Brad Pitt out of film due to his good looks
Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is out of upcoming movie State of Play as the director on hindsight felt he was too good-looking to play the role.
Pitt was originally to star in the big-screen thriller as a journalist but the actor quit during pre-production, citing concerns with the script, contactmusic.com reports.
Gladiator star Russell Crowe was roped in as a late replacement for Brad to star opposite actor Ben Affleck's character of a Congressman in the film.
Director Kevin McDonald is convinced that Crowe's rough features are more suited to the role.
"In a way, I was lucky it didn't work out with Brad. The relationship between the journalist and the politician was meant to be between somebody who feels inferior, who's a bit of a schlump, who kind of can't get a girlfriend, and somebody he's looking up to and admires his polished politician friend," he said.
"That is not the dynamic of a Brad Pitt. He's not looking up to anyone thinking 'Oh, I wish I could have your girlfriend'," he added.

Salman betrayed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Salman Khan is breathing fire at Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actor is so angry with the Saawariya director that he has sworn never to work with him again.
It is learnt that the cause of his ire is Bhansali's volte-face. Salman had agreed to work in Sanjay's Saawariya, even though he didn't have much to do as the maverick director had promised a big project with him later.
Sallu and he had explored the possibility of remaking Hollywood flick, The Prestige, which took on the world of stage magicians. The actor had even presented him with a DVD of the film.
Salman was under the impression that SLB was working on the project. After a few months, Salman bumped into Hrithik Roshan. During their conversation, Hrithik told him that he was doing a film with Bhansali that was a remake of The Prestige. This made Sallu see red as it was his idea to make the film and Bhansali went behind his back and was making it with another actor!
Says a source close to the Khan-daan, "Salman was shocked that Bhansali could treat him like this and not even inform him about the changed scenario. Ever since Salman has been openly abusing Bhansali in front of his friends."
Adds the source, "Sallu had agreed to be a part of Saawariya because of his old association (Khamoshi, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) with Bhansali.
Moreover, he had even taken time out to promote the film as the release date was clashing with Om Shanti Om that had Shah Rukh Khan.

Anil Kapoor to star in American TV series 24
After starring in the multiple Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire, Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor will play an anti-terrorist cop in hit American TV action drama 24.
Contactmusic.com reports that Anil will play an Indian counter-terrorist cop who teams up with Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland in the eighth season of the long-running programme.
"Anil would play Jack Bauer's counterpart in India. It's not known yet whether Anil will appear in just one episode of whether he'll be a recurring character. Either way the producers are very excited about having him onboard," said a source from the production house.

Yash Raj and Bhansali in a bitter title war
Finding the right title for a film has always been an issue if one does not even have a right working title it can lead to bigger issues. Yash Raj Film’s are going through the same dilemma.
Earlier just few months back for months they were struggling to find a suitable title for their Kunal Kohli directed Saif Ali Khan - Rani Mukerji starrer film and when they finally zeroed down on one they had to face problems from another maker for similar sounding title.
Now their forthcoming venture that is being directed by debutant Anurag Sinha and starring Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles seems to have another issue.
Sources reveal, “That the makers wanted a small one word title for this sports movie and zeroed upon Hadippa. They found it apt as it is related to sports.
However, this title has already registered by none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sanjay is not ready to part with the title. Yash Raj people have been repeatedly trying to convince Bhansali to give them this title but he is simply not ready to part with it.
Going by Sanjay Leela’s films, he has always made romantic ventures so everybody is curious as to what kind of film he will make with this title.

Earlier just few months back for months they were struggling to find a suitable title for their Kunal Kohli directed Saif Ali Khan - Rani Mukerji starrer film and when they finally zeroed down on one they had to face problems from another maker for similar sounding title.
Now their forthcoming venture that is being directed by debutant Anurag Sinha and starring Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles seems to have another issue.
Sources reveal, “That the makers wanted a small one word title for this sports movie and zeroed upon Hadippa. They found it apt as it is related to sports.
However, this title has already registered by none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sanjay is not ready to part with the title. Yash Raj people have been repeatedly trying to convince Bhansali to give them this title but he is simply not ready to part with it.
Going by Sanjay Leela’s films, he has always made romantic ventures so everybody is curious as to what kind of film he will make with this title.

Ghajini Producer all Set to Make a Killing
With the producers' ban coming into place from the first week of April, there are many producers who will have to wait it out till the issue with the multiplex owners is resolved. But there are some who have already hatched up plans to make merry in the interim. One of them is Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena.
The Ghajini producer is planning to re release his film in April, all over the country. The Aamir Khan Asin starrer, which turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters of recent times, is nearing its 100 days. The producer intends to time that with the re release of the movie with some 200 prints. It seems that he has got his leading man, Aamir's permission for that as well. It is rare for a movie to go into re release so soon (it's would have been just a little more than three months since the film was released) after its release. With the audience having no new film to look forward to in the month of April, it sounds like a smart move on paper, at least. The producer intends to release the movie all over the country with some added footage. Who knows, the idea may just catch on and April may just turn out to be the month of re releases. Rani Mukherjee sweating out in gym to revive her career
Khandala girl is working out very hard to tone up her body for her next film in which she plays the role of a sportsperson. Aamir Khan’s trainer Satyajit Chourasia is helping her with her excercises.
We spoke to Satyajit Choursia about Rani’s work-out routine,
“She does alternate day’s exercise which includes yoga and weight training and its mainly loose weight training, floor exercises and freehand exercises. She also works with dumbles and her working habits are divided into two schedules. She sweats it out for one and an half hour. She can’t do heavy weight because of her height so she only does loose weight training.”
Further about her diet he said that, ”no oily food and basically one should have balance diet and each individual will have different balance diet as it depends upon a person’s DMRE and metabolism structure. Accordingly then we prepare balance diet, so for Rani also there is a separate balance diet which 45% carbohydrates, 40% protein and 15% fats and this balance diet includes no sugar and maida flour and oil just one tablespoon in a day and most important no sweets.”
Rani already looked thinner than her normal self in the song that she did for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She’s working on her next film for Yash Raj, called Cricket, in which she is a player. So Rani is going on the foot-prints of her co-actor Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Abhishek to take center stage
Abhishek is preparing meticulously nowadays for something apart from acting. He is fervently preparing himself to give an inspiring speech. If you are wondering whether the Bachchan boy is transitioning in to politics then you are gravely wrong. Abhi has been selected by the esteemed Wharton School under the University of Pennsylvania to speak on the Indian film Industry.
He will deliver his speech on March 21 from the university during its 13th Wharton India Economic Forum. Abhishek’s speech is part of the agenda of this year’s program that is themed as “Road Ahead For India”. Film director Rohan Sippy will also be present for the occasion and will be speaking on his beliefs about the future growth of India.
Cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, Billiards champion Geet Sethi, politician Rahul Gandhi, and software developer Sabeer Bhatia, the co-founder of Hotmail have also been invited to present their views.
It is also indicated that Abhishek has taken this opportunity very seriously and is utilizing all his free time, which he gets very little of amassing content that to go into his discourse.

SRK signs Hollywood director David Benullo
SRK has got Hollywood writer David Benullo for his next production, Ra.1, which is being directed by Anubhav Sinha. Ra.1 is an SFX film. Benullo has written the screenplay for Around the World in 80 Days and the script for Hallowed Ground, Cupid and Shadow Man, which had won the International Fantasy Film Award in 2006.
An industry insider said, “Since Ra.1 is not a run-of-the-mill film, it requires a unique treatment. It’s has loads of special effects, which is why it will be made differently from the usual commercial Hindi films. SRK wanted a writer who would do justice to the film. Which is why he got David Benullo to work on the script.”
“The writer has already started work on the film when he was he was in India recently. He was working from the Red Chillies office. He had several discussions with SRK when he was recuperating after his shoulder surgery,” added the source.
Director Anubhav Sinha confirmed the news and said, “Yes, David Benullo is one of the writers working on the script. It’s too early to tell you anything more since I can’t talk about the film.” Sinha refused to divulge any further details. The film is expected to release early next year.

Shriya is the New Punjab di Kudi
Shriya Saran essays the role of a simple effervescent girl from the land of Punjab, in her forthcoming movie EK The Power of One which is produced by K Sera Sera. The actress is looking gorgeous wearing vivid colours and flaunting the traditional Phulkari embroidery and well, who else to thank than her designer Falguni Thakore!
"With Shriya, I had an advantage of a naturally very graceful girl with a beautiful complexion. I used a lot of chiffons, georgettes and breezy fabrics that added to the feminine styling for her look. It was a beautiful experience to re-create the Punjabi jooti's and jhoomka's and the little detailing with the parandi's et al to complete the entire Punjab di kudi feel. The Northern influence was incorporated in the styling and designing of her costumes. Antique silver kurta buttons on short kurti's, lace salwar's and dogri's make up her silhouette for the wardrobe." says the designer.

Rahman’s latest tryst with international music
Recent double Oscar winner for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ A.R.Rahman is fast becoming a very well known name in the international music arena.
Currently he’s being featured in a video of American hip-hop singer Akon.
In the video ‘Beautiful’, Rahman is seen for just a couple of seconds. The Mozart of Madras is seen posing with a group of models and smiling in his usual coy way.
The video also features American pop singer Colby O’Donis and Canadian hip hop artist Kardinal Offishall

Shilpa unable to meet Jade Goody
Shilpa Shetty rushed on Sunday night to meet her former Big Brother housemate Jade Goody who apparently has reached the last lap of her rudely-abbreviated life.
However a rude shock awaited Shilpa on her arrival in London.
When Shilpa rushed to meet Jade she was not allowed the terminally ill girl with whom Shilpa made peace after months of bickering on Big Brother.
Sounding extremely dejected Shilpa said from London on Monday afternoon, “When I left for London on Sunday I thought I’d be able to meet her. But she has deteriorated since yesterday. She’s heavily drugged and hardly awake.”
Shilpa admits Jade is extremely critical. “I really want to meet her, But unfortunately only her mother and husband are allowed to be with her. And I’ve no choice but to respect that.’
Sounding shocked and disappointed by the turn of events Shilpa sighed, “I really feel terrible about what has happened to her. All I can do is pray for her. And I’m not giving up hope of seeing her one last time.”
After a pause she adds, “It’s not a choice left to me. If I had my way I’d meet her. I’ll have to see how she’s doing and I’ll continue to try to meet her. But if I can’t I just pray that she isn’t in too much pain.”

“I will be working with them again on 17th March and it will be in Film city and now there will be maximum scenes with her. When we all were shooting in Shimla in September it was too cold, so after the scene used to get over we used to go to our respective rooms. No hang ups,it was nice experience to shoot with Kareena. We interacted on sets and also spoke about diet, make-up et al. She used to tell me about the meals that one must eat every two hours and then she looks so pretty so about make-up she told me that she use very less make-up, which is very important for an actress.”
Further she told us that,”I and Kareena play Boman Irani’s daughters and my character name in the film is Mona. Moreover my look is also quite different and for that I’m quite excited.”

The director is kind of free now and is thinking of taking up the project.
It’s not sure whether Saif and Kareena have agreed to do the film or not but it will be an opportunity for them to show off their histrionics.
