Ghajini Producer all Set to Make a Killing

With the producers' ban coming into place from the first week of April, there are many producers who will have to wait it out till the issue with the multiplex owners is resolved. But there are some who have already hatched up plans to make merry in the interim. One of them is Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena.

The Ghajini producer is planning to re release his film in April, all over the country. The Aamir Khan Asin starrer, which turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters of recent times, is nearing its 100 days. The producer intends to time that with the re release of the movie with some 200 prints. It seems that he has got his leading man, Aamir's permission for that as well. It is rare for a movie to go into re release so soon (it's would have been just a little more than three months since the film was released) after its release. With the audience having no new film to look forward to in the month of April, it sounds like a smart move on paper, at least. The producer intends to release the movie all over the country with some added footage. Who knows, the idea may just catch on and April may just turn out to be the month of re releases. As of now, the impasse between the producers' body and the multiplex owners continues.
