So finally the Supreme Court announced its decision and Sanjay Dutt has been barred from contesting the elections from Lucknow on a Samajwadi Party ticket. A disappointed Sanju is believed to have gone on a film signing spree.
The actor decided to play it smart. Always knowing that the court's decision could go either way, the actor never really stopped meeting producers, even while he was in Lucknow. If reports are to be believed, then the actor has reportedly signed some five new projects. So it seems that besides giving out statements on whether married women should or should not retain their maiden names, among others, the actor spent his time fruitfully in Lucknow. Among the new projects that the actor has on his hand are Rohit Shetty's All The Best, which is produced by Ajay Devgan Rob Cohen's Bollywood project to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor's No Problem, directed by Anees Bazmi. The actor is also believed to have given the nod to producer Indra Kumar for the Dhamaal sequel and Sohail Maklai. So even if he does not have a party ticket, at last he has enough films on his hand to keep him busy till the next elections.
